Is Monsanto Roundup Dangerous?

If you or a loved one was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and have a history of using Roundup weed killer products, you may qualify for damages.

What is Roundup?

Roundup is the most widely used global herbicide to kill weeds and grass. The active ingredient in Roundup weed killer and other products is Glyphosate. Glyphosate has been used globally for decades even after the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) concluded that glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen (1). California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment has designated glyphosate a known carcinogen.

The IARC report found evidence that glyphosate causes non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which claims the lives of more than 20,000 American per year (1). Some government agencies have accepted the claims outlined in the IARC’s findings but the claims in the report are disputed by Monsanto.

Monsanto is being sued by people exposed to Roudup who have developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other cancers due to decades of exposure to the dangerous chemical glyphosate.
